It should be borne in mind that not every alcohol solution has a sufficient antiseptic effect. The effective concentration in an alcohol-containing preparation should range from 60 to 95%. Preparations containing lower concentrations of ethanol (for example, alcohol-containing gels) do not have a pronounced antiseptic effect.
